A gift doesn’t have to be expensive to make a big impact. Here’s an example of what I mean:

I took my car in to for an an oil change and tire rotation. The work was completed in the time frame given.

When I went to the service desk to pay my bill and pick up my keys the service manager handed me my invoice with a red stamp on it that said, “No Charge”.

I would have been happy to pay the normal cost.
The amount of work was not large so the invoice would have been a small.

The gift was a total surprise.

I know where I’ll go when it comes time for a major service.
